Awesome deli! Been coming here for years. Great sandwiches! Yummy potato salad! Awesome deli goods and the snacks and treats are so interesting ,its a must to always get something. The ladies in there are very nice. This place gets busy at lunch time . Its a take out , order your sandwich at counter , wait and go. Its small but my favorite on the hill.

We visited family in Seattle for Easter, and this was our first stop after the airport. We needed to pick up Polish sausage for Easter dinner (as we do). This tiny little shop is a haven on all things Polish and rivals some of the Polish grocery stores we've been to in Chicago, though it's much smaller. The women behind the counter had things down to a science on what I'm sure was a busy day compounded by the lunch rush.
The shelves are packed with Polish goods, including candy and kraut. The deli case is well-stocked. We had the fresh Polish sausage, which was excellent. It had a good balance of spices without being overwhelming.
We couldn't resist ordering sandwiches while we were there. I had corned beef on rye. The corned beef was lean and flavorful -- and the sandwich was generous.
Highly recommend this little shop, especially for those seeking an authentic Polish experience. -

Heck yeah! What a great little find!
I was driving through the area and stupid hungry, so i pulled over and opened Yelp to see what was around. Turns out I was LITERALLY in front of this place and didn't notice it. Moral of that story? George's is the definition of nondescript.
I go in and it's a tiny little Polish deli, full of stuff I've mostly never heard of. Since I don't live in Seattle, I wasn't trying to buy any packaged goods and instead went straight for a sandwich. I got the reuben and then impulse purchased 10 potato and cheese pierogies. It took about 10 minutes and then my order was ready, at an incredibly reasonable price. I think the sandwich was something like $7, which is just nutty.
I ate in my car and it was fantastic. I loved the reuben, both the meat and the russian dressing were outstanding. The pierogies were great as well, though I wish I could have gotten a combo of flavors rather than all potato and cheese.
Businesses like this are what make cities special. Definitely worth a visit if you live anywhere near by. There's so much more to check out than what I tried. -

Where can I even begin??!! Their lunch sandwiches are amazing. They're thick, definitely not skimping on the meat. They're always fresh and delicious.
The owners/women behind the counter, are always pleasant, accurate, and efficient.
Their prices are amazing, and love that they don't feel the need to gouge customers.
Keep it up!!!! -

What can I say, this is authentic Polish smoked meat. The variety of products in the store are also Polish. Having grown up with these foods back in NY, finding George's in Seattle is a gem. Every time I've gotten food from here, everyone asks me where I got it and can't wait to give it a try for themselves. The staff is super friendly, and nearly everyone speaks Polish. Overall a must visit!
